Details for the Jackalope Pre-order this Weekend

Woo! The big ‘lope design is finally done! This Sunday I’m opening up custom Jackalope pre-orders just for Club Members (in the exclusive shop!), so you can be the first to grab the new design. I also have 5 pastel baby ‘lopes that will be part of the Early Creature Release this Saturday. Check out our Rules page for info on how Early Creature Releases work. Pics of the pastel babies are coming tomorrow, but this post is all about the custom ‘lope pre-order for the new large Jackalope.

So first off. I was hoping to make them $350, but it looks like they need to settle at $400. I want to give club members a discount, so our special price will be $375 if you place an order/start a layaway during the first week the Jackalopes are available (March 28th-April 1st). When pre-orders open to the public, they’ll be $400.

As usual, pre-orders can be put on layaway with a minimum payment of $100 a month. So Jackalopes can be put on layaway for up to 4 months (final payment is $75+shipping costs).

These guys are going to be a 12-week (3 month!) wait period! I wanted to make sure you all got a chance to grab a custom Jackalope before the season ends, but I also have to prioritize the old-style pre-orders first and foremost. So instead of our normal 8 week turnaround on pre-orders, its going to be 12 weeks so I can finish up all the old-style ‘lopes before I get to work on the new ones.

I’ve done my best to include some size ref in here, but the rain has made it tricky to get a photo of me holding the new ‘lope. It’s dimensions are: 12 inches long from nose to tail, about 5 inches wide, and 15 inches from feet to antlers when standing on its hind legs. He’s a big boy!

Now on to the fun bits- Custom Jackalopes can use any of the fur we had available for the old-design Jackalope pre-order! Go take a look at the old Pre-Order Listing to see all the photos of the fur options. A couple fur colors are rather short, and not the best choice for this larger ‘lope (like the coyote fur), so check in with us about your design here or on insta before ordering. If you want a fluffy, more realistic ‘lope, I have a few suggestions for fur. These 3 colors (and the black fur pictured) are all a bit longer and fluffier and would look great on this design:

There will be two types of ears available- regular ears, and lop ears. The white Jackalope with Red eyes is currently getting her lop ears so I can show you her all finished by the end of the work week. Custom eye colors are also an option. Message me the idea of what you are looking for and we can find the perfect eye color for your custom doll!

Additionally, I can add a cream or white tummy to your ‘lope for no extra cost if you place your order this coming week! That includes the tummy, and bottom of tail. We can also do face/feet markings. Just come up with your idea and send me a message and we can make it happen! You know how much I like working with Club Members to make your custom ideas ^_^

Lastly, I happen to have 4 fur colors in the perfect length for this doll where I only have enough fur for 1 Jackalope. Here are the colors:

I know colors are hard to tell through the computer screen, but the top one is a gorgeous shiny chocolate brown, next to it is a red/gold fur, then a light brown with white flecks, and lastly a super plush gray/brown chinchilla. If you want to grab one of these colors, message me ASAP to let me know! Email or instagram, both work great.
